Entrance Hall

McFaddin-Ward Entrance HallThe beveled-glass front doors with fan and side lights lead to the impressive entrance hall where visitors to the house were received. The glittering chandelier and sconces, which replaced early copper fixtures in the late 1920s, light this large room decorated with monumental porcelain vases and bronze urns.

Arab Hunter

This 34" tall spelter statue depicting a man in traditional desert costume astride a horse was made in Paris, France by the sculptor Emile Guillemin in about 1880. It strongly evokes a feeling of eastern exoticism so popular with Americans in the late 19th-century.
