Library

In the early 1940s, Mrs. McFaddin altered the decor of this room making it lighter and less formal than it had been during it use as Mr. McFaddin's library.
The room has a light green side wall and pickled oak wainscoting, the work
of a local interior designer.
Portrait, Mrs. Ida Caldwell McFaddin
This portrait of Ida Caldwell McFaddin was painted by Louise Altson. A matching likeness of W. P. H. also hangs in this room above the fireplace.
Arm Chair
A mix of several decorative styles, this chair from the library can be seen in the portrait of W. P. H. McFaddin painted by William Besser in 1904.
