The formal dining room was used by the McFaddin-Ward family to host special dinners with their loved ones and friends. Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays were celebrated with large dinners. The family dined on goose, duck, and sometimes turkey when it was available. They enjoyed Jell-O salad, potatoes, and soup for their sides. For dessert the family loved ice cream and cake.
